The story of D.L. Industrial Supply started in 2007, when vinyl windows became increasingly popular in China. The founders, who have deep expertise in engineering and chemistry, decided to capture the opportunity and started a vinyl extrusion facilities. After finding success in the Asian market, we doubled the number of extrusion lines to increase our production capability, and expanded into European countries in the early 2010s.

In 2019, when we learned about the vinyl window landscape in the US, we were surprised by how shattered and inefficient the market is, so we decided to bring our expertise and experience to the North American market.

Although U.S. vinyl windows differ in shapes than European and Asian style vinyl windows, D.L. already had the technology and capacity to produce the complex, light-weight shapes that are common in the U.S. After a few visits to different U.S. window manufacturing facilities, D.L. started over 100 dies that made up the common vinyl profiles needed to manufacture most U.S. style windows and doors.

 

As a next step, D.L. conducted extensive quality and color testing, and passed all AAMA requirements. Before we started selling, we wanted to ensure our customers is always dealing directly with us, the vinyl extruder who knows the products they are selling, instead of middlemen. So we turned down multiple U.S. companies that approached us to gain exclusive reselling rights. The direct to customer method of selling brought us success and high customer satisfaction in Asia and Europe, we wanted to keep selling that way.
 

D.L. has been supplying high-quality vinyl extrusions since then. We operate a large warehouse in close proximity to Long Beach Port to assist in our distribution efforts and ensure we can deliver the products in a timely manner.
